The Good Guru Organic Vitamin D is a blend of organic Shiitake Mushroom, Reishi Mushroom, Alfalfa and Tulsi (Holy Basil) powders. These herbs are rich in vitamin D – a fat-soluble vitamin that is commonly known as the ‘sunshine vitamin’. It is essential for the absorption of minerals such as Magnesium, Calcium and Phosphorus, which play a key role in maintaining strong and healthy teeth and bones. It also enhances immune system and keeps the functions of heart and muscles at the optimum level. It is also known to combat anxiety, depression, enhance immunity, protect from viral and bacterial infection and improve physical stamina.
Shiitake Mushrooms are a good source of vitamin D, fibre and protein. Due to the high level of the mineral Selenium, they are known to help with reducing stress levels. They also keep cholesterol and weight under control.
Reishi Mushrooms are known for their excellent antioxidant properties. They are a good source of vitamin D, as well as Calcium, Selenium, Potassium, Magnesium, Zinc, Phosphorus, Copper and Iron.
Alfalfa is traditionally used for treating various ailments, such as arthritis, menopausal symptoms, diabetes, high cholesterol, menstrual problems and urine infections. It has powerful antioxidant properties.
Tulsi (Holy Basil) is a source of essential oils, along with Phosphorus, Iron, Sodium, Calcium, Magnesium, Folate, Potassium and vitamins B6, A, K and D. It is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for treating respiratory ailments. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral and adaptogen properties. It relaxes blood vessels and is a good liver tonic. It can help with maintaining oral health and flushing out toxins from the body.
How to Use: Take 2 capsules daily with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
