The company’s founder, Jess F. Clarke Jr., experienced the healing power of the plant in his childhood when his mother used the soothing gel from an aloe vera plant on their kitchen windowsill to treat burns, bug bites, cuts and chapped fingers. In 1970 Jess partnered with the legendary Dr. Collins’ Aloe Vera Ointment Company to develop mail-order techniques to increase deliverability of Aloe Vera products so more people could experience their benefits. In 1981 Jess launched Miracle of Aloe in Westport, Connecticut, working tirelessly to introduce the brand’s name to homes across the country. Little by little, people started talking about Miracle of Aloe products and how they were giving them natural relief for all sorts of ailments.
Since then, the company has moved its headquarters to Fort Worth, Texas, and has grown as a family business renowned worldwide in the healthcare field for its high quality and effective Aloe Vera products. Today, Miracle of Aloe manufactures a line of over thirty different health, skin and beauty care products covering everything from facial to foot care.
The Clarke family’s commitment to world health has been reinforced again and again by solid scientific evidence proving the ability of Aloe Vera gel to help speed wound healing, lessen pain and fight inflammation.
